Who I am

This website is operated by Will Samme, a freelance marketing consultant based in London, UK. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact me at will@willsamme.com.

What data I collect

When you sign up for my free course or contact me through the website, I collect:

  • Your email address
  • Your name (if provided via the contact form)
  • Your company name (if provided via the contact form)
  • Any message you send through the contact form

I do not collect any data automatically beyond standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), which are handled by my hosting provider Netlify.

How I use your data

I use your email address to:

  • Send you the free course you signed up for
  • Send you follow-up emails about getting online (a short 3-email welcome sequence)
  • Occasionally notify you about new courses or content

I will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email marketing

I use Mailchimp to manage my email list. When you sign up, your email address is stored securely on Mailchimp's servers. You can read Mailchimp's privacy policy here.

Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time with one click.

Contact form

The contact form on my consulting page is processed by Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored securely and only accessible to me. You can read Netlify's privacy policy here.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for email marketing at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your local data protection authority

Cookies

This website uses localStorage (not cookies) to remember whether you've dismissed the email signup popup. No tracking cookies are used. I do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
